Who is Nowak+Katz
The team JUNOPHOTO, Julia Nowak-Katz and Dmitri Katz, has worked together in the field of photography and digital composition since they met in New York City in 2000. Julia has a degree in photography from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and Dmitri holds a fine arts degree from the San Francisco Art Institute. Merging their backgrounds they have been collaborating on their art projects since they moved to Berlin in 2002, incorporating the professional and commercial experience collected in the fields of advertising, fashion and lifestyle photography.

We are artists who understand that in the commercial world one needs to satisfy the art director, the marketing executive and the demanding client, while often working under hard deadlines. Our combination of photography and post production allows to get the job done better and faster.
STATEMENT
The ability of a picture to live beyond a trend, the image that has the energy and strength and the mood that it lives beyond a time frame could be called a piece of art. Trends come and disappear with time and it is the straight forward and honest work which has gone deeper into the experience and makes a difference.
Our goal with our creative images is to be polished but not superficial, to have something to say and to say it well.
